JACQUI LALITA’S BELLY DANCE CORE EMPOWERMENT CERTIFICATION PROGRAM

Dearest Dancers & Aspiring Dancers,  I’m so happy to be offering an online program that you can do from anywhere in the world!   I designed this program to help you embody your feminine energy and sensuality and experience the incredible benefits of the ancient art of belly dance.

My vision for this Belly Dance Core Empowerment is more than just a dance training.  It is an invitation to awaken creativity,  sensuality and femininity,  while nourishing your mind, body and soul.   This program has been born from the belief that every woman’s body is sacred, and that dance is a direct doorway into the great temple within.   Our bodies are inherently made for movement.  Belly Dancing is one of the oldest and most natural forms of self-expression, working in profound and mysterious ways to unlock latent energy and empower women to move from the depths of their core.

This certification program offers students the opportunity to immerse themselves in a strong foundation of strength training, technique, movement vocabulary, combinations, musicality,  cultural understanding and mind/body practices to live your most fulfilling life.  Throughout this journey, we dive into the heart and soul of belly dance, mastering the technique,  movement vocabulary, and emotionality that make belly dance so enchanting and timelessly feminine.  Students are infused with knowledge to fuel their dancing path whether they choose to dance as a personal practice, or to share dance with others through teaching and performance.  It has been thoughtfully designed by Jacqui to help each woman feel empowered in her strength, sensuality and sovereignty.

Belly dance is a dance for ALL women from children to grandmothers.   This training offers in depth study with world renown teacher Jacqui Lalita, who has earned a reputation for her uncanny ability to bring out the natural dancer in women from all walks of life.  The focus is on dance as healing practice and as a lifestyle promoting joy, longevity and inspiration.

Benefits of Belly Dance

Belly dance is an enlivening form of exercise that tones muscles, improves circulation and helps calm the mind.  It is believed to have originated thousands of years ago as a childbirth ritual and the figure 8s, circles, undulations and twists tonify inner organs and muscles, promoting strength, flexibility and vitality.  On an emotional level, belly dance helps to mend the relationship we as women have with our bellies, which in turn empowers our creative expression and sense of worth.  Through this dance we are encouraged to cultivate self-love and acceptance and bask in the healing beauty of sisterhood and sensuality.

For me dance is a mode of expressing the Divine, a tangible way of tapping into that deep longing of the soul to merge with all of Creation.  My teaching style focuses on allowing the divine breath of life to dance through the body.  I am passionate about helping women heal their relationship to their bodies and the living Earth.

Since 2003 Jacqui has traveled the world teaching Middle Eastern Dance to thousands of women.   Her dancing has taken her to Indonesia, Europe, North, South and Central America and North Africa.   She is the star of the Element Belly Dance DVD sold in retail stores across the country.  This is an incredible chance to be among the first to complete her certificate program and progress to Module 2 & 3.
